Seattle and Florida based Trans Marine Propulsion Systems, Inc. (TMPS) has been added as a member of heavy industries company Hyundai Heavy Industries – EMD’s (HHI-EMD) Global Service Network and is its “Designated Cooperative Repairer.” TMPS will supply service under a nonexclusive agreement for the HHI – EMD. TMPS has locations in Seattle, Washington and Tampa, Florida and services most makes and types of diesel engines, including two-stroke, medium-speed and slow-speed engines for the marine industry and for diesel power plants. TMPS is one of the world’s few service facilities that offer this range of experience. “TMPS is honored to be associated with a captain of industry such as HHI-EMD,” said Shane Roeser, TMPS President. HHI-EMD’s engine and machinery division is the world’s largest marine diesel engine builder with app-roximately 35 percent global market share. The division is also a manufacturer of propellers, cargo oil pumps, ballast water treatment systems and side thrusters.
