Dikkan Valve contributes to defence projects

The Dikkan Group of Companies has announced that it continues to demonstrate its experience in valve manufacturing on national ship projects.  In a press statement in early May, the group said: “Within the framework of the Amphibious Ship (LST) Procurement Contract executed by the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM), company branded special maritime valves were used on the TCG Bayraktar vessel, which was commissioned in 2013; and also on its sister vessel; the second national amphibious ship TCG Sancaktar, which was launched in July 2016.”

We are proud to be preferred for the national ship projects and having a share of these ships in the sea safely.” The production schedule for TCG Bayraktar, which comprises of two amphibious vessels (LST) projected in May 2008 based on the needs of Naval Forces Command, was launched in the year of 2013.

“The nationality rate is very important in national projects. We, as a principle, adopt 100 percent domestic production with this aim and support our country’s economy. Our moves and investments in defence industry projects will continue. We are willing to be a constant supplier of these projects,” concluded Aslantaş.
