HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE), recieved an order for fifteen petrochemical product carriers from an undisclosed Asian shipowner
According to the shipbuilder’s stock exchange filing the contract for fifteen petrochemical carriers is valued more than 716 million dolars. The 50,000 dwt vessels will be built at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD).
With the latest order of fifteen vessels that are expected to be delivered by November 30, 2026, HD KSOE’s orderbook reached to $1.19 billion, representing 8.8 per cent of the company’s annual order target of $13.5 billion, according to Yonhap News Agency.
